Computer Music review: “The sample magicians this time focus on the machine-with-a-soul sounds of deep and tech house. This 2.5GB disc features bass, drum, synth, FX and top loops, with a helping of single hit FX samples, drum and stab samples. In the cimobi folder are full instrumental loops, each with four variations (handily the fourth one is always without drums). The quality is immediately apparent: it’s another sickeningly good effort from Sample Magic. It sounds thoroughly pro, balanced yet bouncy, with bass that boots you right where it should and totally clear mids and treble. The programming is groovy and authentic, and plenty of the loops are sparse enough to be easily cut into single hits too. 9/10.”
Future Music review: “Proof yet again that the boys at Sample Magic can be relied upon to come up with the goods, this solid Tech-House sample package hits the spot nicely. All of the 24-bit samples are neatly classified by type and everything’s at 125 or 127bpm, which should make things easy to work into club-orientated productions. By my count there are the best part of 800 loops. all of which maintain high production levels and sound slick and polished. In addition to the loops, you’ll find the best part of 250 individual hit samples and one-shot FX ready to slot into just about any kind of House or Techno tracks. Great samples and very usable.”
